On May 27th, 2021, the fourth meeting of the Requirements and Standards Group of SparkLink Alliance was successfully held in Beijing. Over 80 experts from the 38 alliance members attended the meeting.
Ge Yuming (Group Leader), Vice Director of IOV and Smart Transportation Department of CAICT, and Yang Nan (Deputy Group Leader), Vice President of Shenzhen IGRS, jointly presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, the Requirements and Standards Group discussed the SparkLink basic service layer standards in detail, including the system architecture, equipment and service discovery, transmission and control, QoS architecture and management, multi-domain coordination and management, 5G cellular network convergence, and security and access layer equipment testing specifications. The group discussed and passed new standards such as SparkLink low power consumption technical requirements as well.
