On the afternoon of May 27th, 2021, the second meeting of the SparkLink Alliance Spectrum Group was successfully held in Beijing. More than 20 experts from 10 alliance members, including the State Radio Monitoring Center Testing Center (Group Leader), Huawei (Deputy Group Leader), China Mobile (Deputy Group Leader), CAICT, MediaTek, ZTE, Unisoc, Sylincom, OPPO, and VIVO, attended the meeting.
The Group Leader Zhang Mingyuan, Director of Wireless Technology Dept of the State Radio Monitoring Center Testing Center, presided over the meeting. First of all, the Secretariat reviewed the achievements of SparkLink Alliance Industry Summit held in Shenzhen, and then the group discussed the spectrum requirements of SparkLink technology in detail.
Based on the first draft of the Analysis Report on SparkLink Spectrum Requirements, the experts fully discussed the wireless short-range spectrum situations at home and abroad, spectrum requirement analysis methods, and business requirements of various scenarios. The group will further improve the research on spectrum requirements to facilitate the industrial commercialization of SparkLink technology.
