First Meeting of SparkLink Alliance Security Group

On March 9th, 2022, the first meeting of the Security Group of SparkLink Alliance was successfully held in Beijing. More than 40 experts from over 20 alliance members attended the meeting.

The meeting was hosted by Xiao Lingyun, Deputy Director of Product Security Institute of CNIS (Deputy Director of SAMR Defective Product Administration Center). Wang Yan (Group Leader), Director of Product Security Institute of CNIS (Director of SAMR Defective Product Administration Center), Xia Ji (Deputy Group Leader), Lab Operation Director of China Electronics Standardization Institute, and Xu Siliang (Deputy Group Leader), Director of IoV Security Lab of QI-ANXIN, attended the meeting.





First of all, Wang Yan introduced the industry security situations, the background of establishing the group, and the job objectives. By focusing on the network security of smart cars, smart terminals, smart home, and smart manufacturing as well as the functional security of smart cars and smart manufacturing, the group discussed the security risks facing SparkLink technology and the research on security requirements and solutions. Finally, the group discussed upcoming work plans, determining that subsequent work will focus on the research of security solutions, the preparation of white papers, and the establishment of security risk sharing mechanism.

The Security Group engages in the research of network security, functional security requirements and solutions for various industries to guarantee that SparkLink technology can satisfy the network security and functional security requirements of these industries. Besides, the group specializes in the publicity, promotion, and handling of SparkLink technology in network and functional security. It will provide important guarantees for the commercialization of SparkLink technology.
