First Meeting of SparkLink Alliance Spectrum Group

On February 25th, 2021, the first meeting of the SparkLink Alliance Spectrum Group was successfully held at the State Radio Monitoring Center Testing Center. More than 20 experts from the 13 alliance members attended the meeting. The meeting mainly discussed the SparkLink technology spectrum demands, the spectrum situations at home and abroad, the alliances feedback on the Notification of Radio Management for 2400Hz, 5100Hz, and 5800Hz (Exposure Draft), and the overall work plan of the spectrum group for 2021.

The meeting was hosted by Zhang Mingyuan (Group Leader), Director of Wireless Technology Dept of the State Radio Monitoring Center Testing Center. Yang Changqing (Deputy Group Leader), Project Manager of Huawei Smart Car Solution BU Policy and Standard Patent Division, Zhang Ao (Deputy Group Leader), an expert from China Mobile Research Institute, and the representatives from the group members attended the meeting.


The SparkLink Alliance is composed of over 100 organizations, including industry associations, universities and scientific research institutes, and enterprises engaging in chips, finished automobiles and auto parts, mobile phones and terminals, home appliances, communication, instruments, and IT. It is committed to globalization, aiming to promote next-generation wireless short-range communication technology innovation and industry ecosystem, support applications in smart cars, smart homes, smart terminals, and smart manufacturing for extreme performance requirements.
